The appearance of a saggy neck skin ( turkey neck) or a double chin can make a person significantly overweight, unhealthy, or even obese.Nice neck
You have probably seen attractive and young individuals with a neck that doesn’t fit their face.
As we age, the supportive tissues in the neck either accumulate fat, or become saggy.

Over the years, there have been a few different approaches to this common issue.
For the younger individual with good skin elasticity, and plenty of intact collagen and support tissues, this can be addressed with fat reduction only for the double chin problem. Either a surgical fat reduction with liposuction (submental liposcution) or a noninvasive and nonsurgical approach such as using energy based devices (Ultherapy, CO2 laser resurfacing) would do a great job. Sometimes addressing the fat pad under the chin is not all what a person may need. In those cases, a small chin contributes to this abnormal appearance. For that purpose, we suggest either a surgical chin implant, or long lasting dermal fillers in the chin area. For other areas of the neck, Ultherapy  (or HIFU as the basic technology behind it), combined with other modalities usually gives satisfactory results.

If the problem is only wrinkly skin, sessions of microneedling plus using PRP from one’s own blood(Vampire lift), gives great results.

For older individuals, the approach may be somewhat different. While using chin implants and dermal fillers may significantly help, often the approach is a combination of different things.

A large percentage of older individuals have saggy skin and less supportive/connective tissue that’s needed in the neck/chin area. This is mostly because of the aging itself, plus the effect of gravity and SUN EXPOSURE. Sun protection on the neck is always a good advice for prevention of this issue.
For others, Skin tightening, along with fat reduction may be all they need. A good diet full of fresh organic vegetables and fruits will give your skin the micro elements and vitamins to maintain your skin quality.
Keep in mind that nutrition, exercise, and sun protection are your best anti aging defense. For best results, using an antioxidant cream is always suggested.
