Hair transplant for women
The treatment of female hair loss is somewhat more complicated than men’s hair loss, since it could be due to factors other than genetics and hormones.
Since female hair loss may be due to medical causes, we routinely send our female clients for specific tests that may give us information about an underlying cause. Treatment for such underlying causes may or may not reverse the female hair loss.
Hair transplant is also performed in women, although it is much more technical due to the necessity of transplanting among long hair strands, rebuilding of the hair line, somewhat different donor area, medical diseases that can affect the scalp, hormonal disease, etc.
